I will miss Pune, I can't forget:
My first two weeks trying to figure out when this city wakes up
Visiting in Pune local for the first time
How I sat in a local shop and that became our lifeline for food later on (40k+ in one year spent by me and my roommate on that one shop)
A hostel room full of Mumbai Indians fans shouting while one guy teaches me Marathi gaali(Aichi…)
How I had pav with different combinations for breakfast for a week
underestimating the amount we would spend and getting a flat
flooding that flat because we forgot to turn off the tap
Leaving that flat for a while
coming back
bribing the security guard so that there wouldn't be a problem bringing my gf
shifting to a new place and exploring all the places I could
Blades of Glory museum
Shasn meet-ups
The most perfect birthday I had
a great relationship and a life-changing break-up
badminton meet-ups
impromptu trips to Mumbai
Meeting so many friends I made online
a perfect date
inviting one of my friends over and roaming around the whole city on a scooty
Those FC Road walks
that Pagdandi Book Café
Those walks under the pink flowers
the rain and the pleasant non-extreme weather, unlike Delhi
crazy cab and auto driver stories
My first green (ykwim) - Balewadi High Street
That Camp Burger that's overrated
Sometimes drinking so much that I forget what happened the night before
fatcat collectibles
rediscovering myself again and again
learnt how to enjoy my own company
I owe all this and more to Pune, and I will come back to you as soon as I can.
Your convincing skills might land me in Pune someday in life, which I want!
